Laura began serving Covenant as Associate Pastor in July 2008. Four years later, she accepted the call to serve as Head Pastor. Simply put, Laura loves being a pastor. She feels it is an honor to walk with people through all times in their lives – from the joyous moments to the most difficult. She considers Covenant a wonderful place – a true family – where different ideas are welcome and celebrated. Her vision for ministry is that Covenant be a place where she can teach and be taught, nurture and be nurtured, love and be loved. Under her leadership, Covenant has experienced many great joys over the past few years. The newly renovated sanctuary along with many other renovation projects reveals her passion for the church to continue to evolve and meet the needs of a diverse and growing population. She thrives on the energy of the congregation and the hustle-bustle of a busy church serving the needs of the community. Traveling with mission trips are a special delight to her. In the summer of 2012, she visited Haiti with a mission team that provided water to villages. Committed to Covenant being a “city on a hill” she encourages the staff and congregation to participate in many service and mission projects each year.
