Our Mission
Two Cities Church is a community of worship, learning, and service centered on Jesus Christ, welcoming those who are curious about the Christian faith, those who are new followers of Jesus Christ and those who have been Christians for many years.
As a Christian community, we seek to embrace all with the love of Jesus Christ, engage all with the truth of the gospel message, equip all for Christian living in the world, and so extend God’s work of healing and renewal through Jesus Christ to our Two Cities and beyond.

About Two Cities Church
Two Cities Church is a community of people learning how to follow Jesus Christ together. Some of us are already Christians, some of us are thinking about becoming Christians, and some of us are just curious as to what being a Christian is all about.
We come together as one larger group for our community worship service on Sunday mornings at the YWCA in downtown Lafayette. The primary focus of this time is singing, praying, hearing a relevant Bible-based message, and just enjoying being together as a larger group each week. Each week we have snacks and fellowship together right after the worship service. Occasionally we also get together as a larger group to have fun, to discuss biblical teaching, to pray, or to serve others.
We get together in smaller community groups during the week in various homes. In these groups we typically eat together, catch up on what’s happening in each other’s lives, discuss some teaching from the Bible, and pray for each other. We also get together just to hang out and have fun, or to serve others in the area in practical ways.
We love to have guests join us for either our community groups or our community worship service. If you do, you’re welcome to participate with us as much as you like, or just observe to get a feel for what’s going on. Please, come and see!

At Two Cities Church we embrace the historic Christian faith as it is set forth in the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments. With Christians throughout the ages we affirm various summaries of the Christian faith from the early church, such as the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed. As a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America we also stand in the rich tradition of the Protestant Reformation of the sixteenth century.
