The Way Church is to be a place where the broken, the unchurched and the unsaved will come to be built into disciples on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ. Our vision is to never be a place where the pews are full but the hearts are empty. We believe in a “Gideon” type approach to our ministry where the numbers aren’t where our strength lies, but rather in the spirit of God indwelling in those we have. We envision training up a band of believers with strong and genuine relationships with the Lord. This group will form from outsiders to the church who will experience the life changing impact that only comes from a true encounter with Christ, their loyalties will lie with Him above all else. Our wholehearted belief is that those who are furthest from God will become the strongest disciples as the Lord does the miraculous in those who are considered “lost causes” to society and the church, just as the first disciples were. The Hope that Jesus Christ still offers to those who will accept Him in this life and the next, is still attractive to the world and that Gospel truth will be our only selling point. Our commitment as a leadership team is to multiply leaders to go out, reaching the lost themselves and equipping them as God supplies, to passionately pursue the calling He puts on their lives. We have resolved to not let religious or traditional views of attendance and finances steer our mission but rather to grab hold of the great commission and treat the community as our portion of the “end of the earth” that is to be won for Christ. While also not forsaking the great need to support and send missionaries into the world to spread this good news that God has blessed us with in His son Jesus. We believe and will teach, that all of this comes to be with a deep love of the Father, a committed relationship to Jesus and an indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
