Pastor Ed Taylor
Ed is a graduate of Lincoln Christian University and has been in located ministry since 2005. Before that, he was a lay-leader in Iowa City, IA.
Ed married his best friend, Kim – who is awesome at everything that he is terrible at – in 1988, and they have two kids. Their son, Edwin, is a Columbia College Chicago grad, a gifted drummer, and successful fashion photographer. Their daughter, Janelle, is a floutist, bass player, guitar player, and lead singer/songwriter for Wax Candy, a central-Illinois-based power pop quartet.
Ed is a movie junkie, a singer/songwriter, a mediocre guitar player, a fan of N.T. Wright and C.S. Lewis, and he ran his first (and probably his last) half marathon in September 2012.
