A Brief Statement of Faith
1) Bible: We believe that all Scripture is given by the inspiration of God; and it's teachings and authority are final.
2) The Godhead: We believe that there is one God eternal co-existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
3) Salvation: We believe that salvation is a gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins.
4) Man: We believe that man was created in the image of God; that he sinned and thereby incurred both physical and spiritual death; that all men are consequently born with a sinful nature and have need of salvation.
5) Heaven and Hell: We believe that Heaven is a place of eternal blessedness for all believers in Jesus Christ and Hell is a place of eternal suffering for Satan and his followers.
6) The Church:
a. We believe that the church is a spiritual body made up of born-again believers in Christ.
b. We believe in the ordinances of water baptism and communion (the Lord's Supper) as symbols of the death, resurrection, and coming again of our Lord Jesus Christ.
