Hello! I'm Rev. Heather Ploen, Pastor at United Lutheran Church in Shelby, Iowa. Our congregation is made up of families, singles, divorced and widowed members all growing in faith and discipleship with Jesus. We are a work in progress. We recognize our need for forgiveness and grace that only Jesus gives through his death and resurrection. We welcome you to be our guest and check out our church family, hear a sermon, and worship with us. We like to get to know people, and consider all strangers- friends we haven't met yet!
