At Mount Sinai Baptist Church, we believe in the one true living God who sent his one and only begotten son Jesus Christ for the redemption of our sins. We cannot atone for our own sins, because "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God"( Romans 3:23). Jesus died on the cross so that we would have redemption of our sins through the shed blood of Jesus Christ who overcame death, burial and the grave!
We believe the 1611 KJV bible is the inspired Word of God and has proven to be so in our lives and continues to direct us until the coming of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ in the last day (John 14: 1-4). We promote the encouragement of our youth to live for Christ in hopes that they may be saved at an early age and not be deceived by the evil world that we live in. God has a plan for our lives! This world is not our home. Reaching others for Christ through love is Gods plan. Just because we have faith, knowledge and power from God, does not mean we are fulfilling Gods plan. Peter said it best....."though I have the gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge and though I have all faith so that I could remove mountains and have not charity, I am nothing" (1 Corinthians 13:2). We must reach the lost by loving them. We should hate the sin, not the sinner! "For God so loved the World that whosoever beliveth in him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16)
