About Chapelhill Church - Dunwoody
We would love for you to join us for a Weekend Worship Experience! Through preaching, worship, and creativity we desire to see Jesus lifted high. Every weekend thousands of believers gather together across multiple campuses to bring glory to our God. Many people don’t know where to begin when visiting a church for the first time, and we understand it can feel overwhelming. We want to make it as simple as possible for you. As soon as you drive on one of our campuses you will be greeted by our parking lot team and they will direct you where to go. From there, you and your family will be directed by our Guest Services team. It’s our goal to make it as easy as possible for you and your family to worship with us in a safe environment. We have age-appropriate kids programs for children ranging from just 6 weeks all the way to the 5th grade. Chapelhill is a church that is passionate about worshipping Jesus. We have a vision to love God, to love people, and to see more changed lives. We look forward to seeing you this Sunday!

BELIEFS
At Chapelhill, we believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God. Although our approach is anything but traditional, we believe in and maintain a conservative theological position. 1. ABOUT GOD. God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. 2. ABOUT JESUS CHRIST. Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Jesus lived a sinless, human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return to earth to reign as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords. 3. ABOUT the HOLY SPIRIT. All believers receive the Holy Spirit (the Spirit of God) when they receive Jesus Christ as Lord of their lives at salvation. However, believers are also entitled to and should expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit. We believe this was the normal experience of Christ followers in the early Christian Church. With the Holy Spirit baptism comes power for life and service. 4. ABOUT the BIBLE. The Bible is God’s Word to us. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is the truth without any mixture of error. 5. ABOUT SALVATION. Salvation is God’s free gift to us, but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When we repent of sin, confess Jesus as Lord, and turn from our self-ruled life, we are saved.
6. ABOUT DIVINE HEALING. All through the centuries since the time of the apostles, there have been individuals who had faith in God for the healing of their bodies, and where New Testament faith has been found, miracles have taken place. We believe Jesus paid the price for divine healing through the atonement…and with His stripes, we are healed. 7. ABOUT the BLESSED HOPE. The blessed hope of the church is the rapture or the “catching away” of the church. The Bible teaches that at the time of the rapture of the church, living Christians will be changed; those whom have died in Christ will be raised in glory; all Christians will forever be with the Lord, and we should be comforted with this truth. 8. ABOUT ETERNITY. People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence. For more detailed information about what The Church at Chapel Hill believes, go to www.ag.org and click on beliefs.
