The Purpose of 1st United Methodist Church of Titusville is to make disciples of Christ. We do this best when we: Receive people to Christ, Glorify God in Worship, Grow in Faith, and Share God's love with others.

Our preschool is over 50 years old. We have interest groups: quilting, retired teachers, gardening, music and line dancing. We have local ministries in: Friday Food Pantry; a free community Saturday breakfast from 8 to 10 with free clothes, job referral lists and Celebrate Recovery small Group, we cook meals for 1/2 way houses and Salvation Army, plus we give away shoes for deserving children going back to elementary school, and we have a Christmas store that provides at least one, new gift to be wrapped for every child in the area. We have adult discipleship groups, Youth Sunday school, Children's Sunday school and seasonal ministries plus Vacation Bible School. We have several specialty singing groups with orchestral musicians (mostly jazz). We pay 100% of our denominational askings (apportionments) and we support the special offering Sundays of The United Methodist Church. Plus we have a Sister Church in Santa Cruz, Cuba. We also have a medical mission to other

Beliefs originate from The Bible. We are a traditional United Methodist Church. We adhere to and follow The United Methodist Book of Discipline as our guide to doing our ministry. We are a pluralistic church who embraces people from all walks of life and tries to practice tolerance in our faith.
