About St. Monica's Episcopal Church
St. Monica's is known as "the friendly little church with Caribbean spirit."
A small, family-centered church in the heart of East Stuart, it was started in the early 1920s by Anglican emigrants from the Bahamas and the West Indies who came to Martin County looking for work as laborers.

St. Monica's is working to grow its congregation so that it can expand its role in the community.
For now, the church participates to the extent possible in a variety of activities within the Episcopal community and the general Stuart community.
Free fellowship breakfast on the first Saturday of each month: 8:00-10:00 a.m.
"Famous Fish Fry" on the third Friday of each month (except November/December): 4:00-7:00 p.m.
Complete dinner: $10.00; Sandwich Special: $7.00.
