Our Mission

We exist for the exclusive purpose of glorifying God and enjoying him forever. Foundation Church can be best described as orthodox, evangelical, and reformed. We align our beliefs with historic Christian orthodoxy as expressed in the Apostle’s and Nicene creeds, and also to a great extent with the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith. During our worship services on Sunday mornings, we pray, give, and recite the Apostle's Creed together before devoting ourselves to the preached Word of God. Our primary goal in the proclamation of the Scriptures is that God would use his Word as the means to bring us nearer to him and conform us into his image.

About Foundation Church

The first thing many people ask is, "How should I dress to come to church?" We at Foundation Church desire that you would feel comfort able and invited. We have members who dress in a suit and tie as well as members who wear a T-shirt and shorts. All are welcome. We only ask for modesty in everyone's attire for the consideration of both men and women. In a typical worship service, the church may sing hymns from the ancient church, hymns from the days following the Reformation, modern hymns, and popular contemporary praise and worship songs. Content is the key, so our worship leaders focus first on what is sung and then how it is sung. During our worship services on Sunday mornings, we pray, give, and recite the Apostle's Creed together before devoting ourselves to the preached Word of God. Our primary goal in the proclamation of the Scriptures is that God would use his Word as the means to bring us nearer to him and conform us into his image. We believe the most blessed and God-honoring means of this proclamation is through expository preaching. Expository preaching is simply letting God's Word speak for itself. We normally preach through books of the Bible, verse by verse, from beginning to end with occasional breaks from time to time. We believe God blesses this dedication to his Word because it allows him to address issues in his timing rather than man's. Time and time again we have seen the benefits of expository preaching as God's providence and grace are put on display through his Word and in the lives of his people.

BELIEFS

We believe that every Christian is called to reveal and display the good news of Jesus to a lost world. This is done through loving one another within the church, loving those outside of the church, and through the verbal proclamation of the gospel. This outreach of the people of God includes foreign, domestic, and local missions. (John 20:21; Matt. 28:18-20; Phil 2:1-10)
Baptism: Older Children/adults
Eternal Security: No, Can't Lose
We agree with these Doctrinal Statements: Apostles Creed Nicene Creed
