About st. dimitries orthodox christian church
We are a welcoming community ,preach the Gospel of Jesus and fellowship with each other at coffee hour after Sunday service. Our annual Food Fest and Festival bring many people from the community who have become our friends.

BELIEFS
We believe in One God in three persons- Father ,Son Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit; Jesus is one person with two natures -both God and man;Scripture as inspired by God reveals to us His Word; that Jesus died on the Cross for our sins and to defeat Death; that He rose from the Dead, Ascended into Heaven, sits at the right hand of the Father,sends us the Holy Spirit and He will come again to usher in the new Heaven and the new Earth. We have no Pope figure but rather Councils of bishops guided by the Holy Spirit. We have seven Mysteries(Sacraments) and believe that the Holy Spirit changes us and the bread and wine into His holy body and blood. In the mystery of Holy Unction with oil ,we believe in the Lord.s healing prescence of soul and body.
