Meet The Pastor

Pastor Vincent & Sarah DiBenedetto
Lead Pastor Vincent DiBenedetto
Pastor Vince has been with us since Easter Sunday 2011. He started as Worship Pastor, and then in October 2012, was appointed to the position of Lead Pastor. He has an extensive background in various forms of ministry. He has been a credential holder in good standing with New Life Christian Fellowship, based in Sullivan, MO since 2001, and has spent over 20 years of his life, traveling both in and out of the country in active ministry with his family in various capacities, such as worship, media and sound. He is an alumnus of the Institute of Audio Research in NYC, and has run a successful technology-based company specifically benefitting churches and non-profit organizations for more than ten years (www.crossfadeaudio.com). This is to say that he not only brings a solid ministerial background to Calvary, but also an extensive technical expertise in sound, video & lighting. This experience is further reinforced by having been to literally hundreds of churches across the nation, whether in a ministerial or purely observational role. Rounding out his skill set is the fact that he is also a licensed and insured home improvement contractor with the state of NJ with both residential and commercial endorsements. This has enabled us to undertake numerous physical, as well as ministry projects at our present facility. Above all, regardless of any spiritual or technical qualifications Pastor Vince knows he was called by God to fill this particular role of Lead Pastor here at Calvary, and has accepted that call to continue to do so as long as the Lord allows. He is currently a credential holder in good standing with the NJ District of the Assemblies of God, and is continuing his education through both the NJ District School of Ministry and Global University. His wife, Sarah DiBenedetto, was raised in an Assembly of God church in Belmond, IA that was planted, and is still Pastored by not just her Father, but co-Pastored by her mother as well. She was also an “on-air minister” with KJCY, a Christian radio station that is part of the Kinship Christian Radio Network of stations in northern Iowa and southern Minnesota for four years. She was actually one of the pioneers of the station, and was on-air from the very first day the station began broadcasting in September 2001. She currently leads both the Women’s and Children’s departments, and assists Pastor Vince on many levels. She is also working toward credentialing with the Assemblies of God.
