Meet The Pastor
Dr. Greg Crocker
Dr. Greg Crocker is the senior pastor of Crosspointe Church.
Under Greg’s leadership, the church’s focus is put squarely on Jesus Christ and His life-saving message to us all.
Pastor Greg has dedicated his life to letting as many people as he possibly can know that most treasured of Biblical verses –
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16
Before entering the ministry, Greg skied professionally at Marine World Africa USA, Redwood City, CA (now Six Flags® Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, California), and also at SeaWorld® in Aurora, Ohio in the 1970s.
But while he enjoyed skiing, it was never the main priority of his life … that spot has belonged to Jesus since 1958. That year, when he was 11, he went with his parents and two older brothers to a conference at Mount Hermon to hear Billy Graham.
The entire family accepted Christ that July summer day. That day, God forgave their sins and freely gave them never-ending life. A few years later at Hume Lake camp, Greg gave his life to God to use in full-time Christian work. Once he took the call, his life was changed forever.
Personal Information
Greg met his wife Kay, now a school teacher, at a Bible study he was leading. Three years later, they were married on June 16, 1972. God has since blessed them with three children, Scott, Jeff and Kristy. Their son Jeff went home to be with Jesus in 2006.
Pastor Greg and his wife, Kay, founded the AWANA program at Crosspointe and have since led or served in the program for over 17 years.
All told, they have now served the Lord for over 30 years, starting with youth (Jr. High, High School and College) and later as pastor of four churches, one in Nevada and three in California.
Greg holds the Doctor of Theology degree from Andersonville Theological Seminary. He and his wife Kay live in Fresno County, California.
