At Metropolitan Community Church / United Church of Christ in the Valley, a Christian Church originally founded to serve the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered community, but welcoming of heterosexual folks, we recognize EVERY human as a beloved child of God. Through the example of Jesus the Christ, and creatively led by the Holy Spirit, we know God’s table is without boundaries — an inclusive spiritual and prayer-centered community of love, peace-making, and compassionate care.

MCC/UCC in the Valley is an all inclusive and green Christian community of faith. We have a deep reverence for all life and the Earth, and we know that “For God so loved the world as to give the only begotten Child that whoever believes may not die but have eternal life.” (John 3:16) The world includes more than humanity, but all life, our planet, and universe. Or Church has won a Green Oscar for Advocacy for Earthcare in 2011 from California Interfaith Power & Light. In May of 2016 the UCC named us as their FIRST Creation Justice Church! We are Also an official accessible to all Church!

Our goal is to reach out to every person in the congregation; whether you are a Member, a Regular Attender or a First-Time Visitor. In fact, many of the people we minister to have never even set foot inside our church.
