Meet The Pastor
Senior Pastor and Founder Dr. Yvonnia Brown
Pastor Brown is an anointed and spirit-filled woman of God, who has been serving in ministry for over twenty years. She accepted Christ in heart and was baptized at twelve. Pastor Brown has a love for praise and worship and began singing at the age of two. However, she rededicated her life to God at the age twenty-eight and since then she has been on fire for Lord. She believes in the power of the Holy Spirit and its ability to transform lives. Pastor Brown embraces the spiritual gifts of others and creates an atmosphere that allows individuals to freely use their gifts to expand the Kingdom of God. Pastor Brown operates and believes in the “Supernatural” manifestation of God’s Word and Power.
On June 17, 2012, Pastor Brown accepted the call from God to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to all people. On February 17, 2019, Pastor Brown was ordained as a Minister. Then on June 11, 2022, completed her Ordination Service and became an ordained Pastor. Both ordinations were under the leadership and guidance of Rev. Dr. Stanford L. Anderson of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Richmond Hill, GA. Pastor Anderson has served as her spiritual father and mentor since 2008.
Furthermore, in 2019, Pastor Brown was commissioned by God to give birth to a ministry in Merced, CA, and beyond, called “Walking by Faith Ministries International (WBFMI). The vision of the ministry is “Healing, Restoring, and Transforming the World through God’s Love and Word. Hence, she embraces diversity and inclusivity within the church, because God can save us all (John 3:16-17).
Additionally, Pastor Brown, possesses a BSW from Benedict College, MSW from the University of South Carolina (USC), and a Doctorate (EdD) in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California (USC). She is a native of South Carolina and has nearly thirty years of experience serving children, adults, families, and building healthier communities. However, her passion and love is seeing God’s people restored, delivered, and transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
