About Saint Benedict's Episcopal Church
Saint Benedict's Episcopal Church in Los Osos, California, serves San Luis Obispo County. At "St. Ben's," whoever you are and wherever you are on your faith journey, there's a warm welcome for you. St. Benedict's is an inclusive Christian community that celebrates the divine in all beings and inspires spiritual growth through joyful sacramental worship, loving service creative expression, thoughtful inquiry and commitment to social justice. We offer adult education programs through the Hollister Institute for a deepening awareness of Christ's message in a rapidly changing world. Music plays an integral part in our worship, and we reach out to the community through specific activities, such as the Abundance Shop, our thrift store on 9th Street; serving lunches and donating to the homeless through the Prado Day Center and actively participating in the local coalition People of Faith for Justice, allowing us to work with those from other congregations to educate and raise community awareness of societal issues such as race and intolerance, and the church's role in addressing these issues.
