Meet The Pastor
Pastor Harvey Simpson
Pastor Harvey Simpson and his wife, Denise. Have been attending Highland Park Christian Church ever since they were married. Back then it was called, Pillar of Fire, Los Angeles and Denise's father, Bishop William Cruver was the senior pastor.
(Yes, Harvey married the preacher's daughter).
For several years Harvey assisted with the chapel programs that the Christian school that the church was running.
When the school closed down in 2013, Harvey moved into the church staff and continued to preach on Sundays. As Bishop Cruver entered his 90's Harvey took over the preaching of the church.
We lost Bishop Cruver in 2017. (He just moved to heaven!).
Harvey was asked by the church to continue in his Father in Law's footsteps. So that is what he has been doing since.
