Senior Pastor Jackie Boyd
We would love for you to be involved in the life of our church. We invite you to look over the weekly schedule and join us for a Bible study or encouraging class that we offer throughout the week. We are a friendly church, and you are welcome to come as you are. From our children's ministry to senior adult ministry and everything in between such as men's, women's and youth ministries, we have something for your family. We also have opportunities for you to be involved in service to the church through our mobilization process. This process helps you to serve God and the church through various ministries that we have which are focused on helping church members and serving the town of Chino Valley and Paulden community. So, if you are looking for a church home, look no further for you have come to the right place. We look forward to meeting you and getting to know more about you as we honor and serve the Lord Jesus Christ.
Pastor Jackie has been with First Southern Baptist Church since August 1st, 2018. He specializes in Biblical Counseling and also leads in areas such as Christian education and community action team. He and his wife Jessica, will celebrate 22 years of marriage this year and they have 6 children. Their family motto is "We don't do easy." Pastor Jackie is retired from the U.S. Army and is a OIF veteran.
EDUCATION:
Pastor Jackie holds two degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. A Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling. He attended Southwestern from 2010-2017.
