Meet The Pastor
Pastor Matt Albritton
Matt Albritton, a US Navy veteran, is pastor of First United Methodist Church, Wetumpka, Alabama. An ordained elder in the United Methodist Church, he is a graduate of Faulkner University and Asbury Theological Seminary. After learning computer systems in the Navy, Matt used this skill set to find employment in the computer industry, most recently as a computer analyst at Gunter Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama. Matt and his wife Tammy have four grown children and eleven grandchildren. Their greatest joy is spoiling their grandchildren and sending them back home with their parents. Matt shares his strong conviction of God’s transforming grace with everyone he meets, and he believes that there is no better place to be than in the strong arms of Christ.
