Our Mission

It is our desire here at Elkmont Baptist Church - using the method set forth by the Early Church in Acts 2:42 - to share the Gospel and make disciples by teaching the Word of God in an expository manner. Our goal is to share the Gospel (good news) of the love and forgiveness of the Lord Jesus Christ, and to equip His followers to share the Gospel with others by helping them become disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ in every area of their lives

About Elkmont Baptist Church

May we take this opportunity to extend a welcome to our church on behalf of all our EBC members. We would also like to extend to you an invitation to join us for our services on Sunday morning and Wednesday night. It is wonderful, as always, to see the faces of new friends and neighbors and all the members of our congregation. We would like to offer to you through our congregation the opportunity to grow spiritually in your life's journey.

BELIEFS

God is the only one true God. God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being. Jesus is God's son. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He is fully God and fully man, and without sin. The Bible is the divinely-inspired, unerring Word of God. It gives doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness. Salvation is the work of grace through faith. It is open to any who repent of their sins and confess that Jesus is Lord and He was raised from the dead. Doing this by the conviction of the Holy Spirit who then dwells within us. Man is created in the image of God, who fell from innocence of his own free will. This choice now infects the rest of the human race with an inherent sin nature that separates us from God.
