Zion Lutheran Church is a congregation of The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod serving Christ in the heart of the Rio Grande Valley in Texas.

BELIEFS
At the heart of what Lutherans believe is the conviction that salvation is the free gift of God’s grace (undeserved love and mercy) alone for the sake of Christ alone and that the Bible’s teaching that God’s grace in Christ Jesus embraces all people of all times, ages, races, and places. There is no sin for which Christ has not died. Simply stated, we believe, teach, and confess that in Christ alone is there salvation: by grace alone, through faith alone, on the basis of Scripture alone.To share this message with the world is the mission of the Church and the reason for its existence.
