ABOUT VICTORY BAPTIST CHURCH
We are a non-denominational, independent Baptist church. Our mission is to teach the whole Bible to the Whole family, in a fun, relevant, and practical way.

BELIEFS
What is in the name Baptist?
Victory is a Baptist church by conviction and principle, not by affiliation. This means that we believe the same basic Bible truths those who were historically called Baptist did. As a Baptist church we believe the following:
B– The Bible is our sole authority for faith and practice.
A– Autonomy of the local Church. The church is self-governed and not under a religious hierarchy.
P– Believers need no other priesthood than that of Jesus. Every Christian has equal access to God, through Jesus alone.
T– Two ordinances: baptism and the Lord’s table.
I– Individual soul liberty. Every individual is responsible for his/her decision to accept or reject Christ.
S– Security of the believer in Christ. Christ is able to save and keep those who come to Him.
T– Two offices in the local church: pastor and deacon.
S– Separation of the governance of man and the church.
What does it mean to be independent?
As an autonomous Baptist Church, we are not associated with any Baptist denomination or ruling body. Because of this we can own our property, support our own missionaries, choose our own leaders, and support institutions we believe we should. In short, our church answers to the headship of Jesus Christ, rather than a denominational headquarters.
