OUR MISSION
To become a more faithful community of disciples, committed to following Jesus Christ.
As a faithful Christian community of disciples we shall:
•Worship God Joyfully in forms traditional yet informal, with emphasis on hearing the Word, music, and prayer.
•Care For Each Other through prayer, words of comfort, and practical assistance.
•Improve The Planning, Coordination and Support of the work of our congregation by identifying, training, and electing committed lay leaders according to Presbyterian polity.
•Reach Out and Welcome the Samaritans in our community, after equipping ourselves through biblically grounded study and contemplation of poverty, homelessness, immigration, homosexuality, racism, and economic injustice.
•Care For Our Neighbors Lovingly by:
1.Assessing our talents and resources as a congregation.
2.Determining the critical needs of our local community as well as the nation and world around us, and
3.Exercising good stewardship as we initiate ministries that will employ our capabilities appropriately and effectively in serving those communities.
