BELIEFS
We believe that we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, on account of Christ alone.
The rule of our faith and life is the Holy Scriptures (both the Old and New Testaments), which is briefly summarized in the ancient Creeds of the Christian Church (the Apostles' Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed) and interpreted in the Lutheran Confessions (the Augsburg Confession, its Apology, the Smalcald Articles, and the Small and Large Catechisms).
We live out our faith through following the Great Commandment ("You shall the Lord your God... and you shall love your neighbor as yourself") and the Great Commission ("Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you.")
