ABOUT SAINT MARY'S AT HILL ANGLICAN CHURCH
Saint Mary's at Hill was built in 1920 serving the Episcopal Diocese of the Rio Grande and well known (Preacher) Father Hunter Lewis who was responsible for the founding of over 14 missions throughout the Valley. You may read the experiences of "Preacher Lewis" in the book "Journeys of Faith" written by well known writer Mrs. Lee Priestley of Las Cruces NM (now deceased) The congregation continues in the 1928 Book of Common Prayer Anglican tradition and is a firm conservative group.
