The purpose of New Hope Central Oahu is to connect people with God and equip them to be fruitful followers of Christ. Haleiwa is one of three New Hope Central Oahu locations. Other locations include Wahiawa and Mililani Tech Park.

BELIEFS
New Hope Central Oahu Core Values
1. God’s Manifest Presence: (1 Corinthians 6:19)
WE BELIEVE that the Church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God’s presence on earth, that corporately and individually Christians are designed to walk in intimate relationship with God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
2. Spiritual Transformation (2 Corinthians 3:17-18)
WE BELIEVE that encountering the Spirit of Jesus transforms individuals, families, the Church and society from glory to glory.
3. R.I.S.E. & Multiply (Matthew 28:18-20)
WE BELIEVE the Church is to multiply — make disciples who make disciples who make disciples, etc. – and this is done through loving relationship with one another, instruction in God’s word, selection of specific individuals, and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit for witnessing.
4. Shema Family Vision (Deuteronomy 6:4-9)
WE BELIEVE that God’s will is for parents to be the primary spiritual mentors of their children, training them to love God passionately with their whole being, and that the church — pastors, other parents, adult partners, and youth peers — serve as a constellation of mentors to support the family.
5. Leadership Development (2 Timothy 2:2)
WE BELIEVE in identifying and training emerging leaders who are fully committed to Christ and will reach their generation with the Gospel.
6. Doing Church as a Team (1 Corinthians 12:7)
WE BELIEVE that “doing church as a team” is God’s design for effective ministry.
7. Anchored to God’s Word (2 Timothy 3:16)
WE BELIEVE that every believer must live his or her life anchored to God’s word.
8. Led by His Spirit (Matthew 16:18)
WE BELIEVE that the Spirit of Jesus is the head of His Church and is actively and personally leading and building His Church.
9. Church Without Walls (1 Timothy 2:4; 2 Peter 3:9)
WE BELIEVE that every person is valuable to God, therefore Christians intentionally and boldly witness to the unchurched and disciple the nations.
10. Hands of Hope (James 1:27)
WE BELIEVE it is the heart of God to help the poor, orphans, widows, and others in need.
