Pastor Mike holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Bob Jones University and has been on staff here at Ferndale Baptist since 1992. He and his wife, Leeann, were married in May 1986 at Heritage Bible in Greenville (now located in Greer, SC) where they also were actively serving in the youth ministry there. Leeann also holds undergrad and graduate degrees from BJU in Education and serves as the administrative assistant. She is heavily involved in other ministries of the church as well. On July 30, 2008, Pastor Mike accepted the church’s call to serve as its seventh pastor and is thankful for the opportunity to serve the congregation. The church is currently making plans to relocate the ministry to a new section of Hanahan on an ideal piece of property that is owned debt free.
