The verse-by-verse exegetical preaching is saturated with the Gospel and informed by two thousand years of church history. Rest assured, one will receive the full counsel of the Scriptures; not merely the cherry-picked parts that are easy to digest. While a confessional church, Holy Scripture is consistently regarded as the ultimate authority, above any tradition or theologian. Ongoing careful consideration is given by the elders to discern how to operate in accordance with the Scriptures (semper reformanda). The elders strive to equip the church so that we may give an answer (1 Peter 3:15) within today's postmodern world, and the congregants encourage one another to evangelism, and sharpen one another for the daily spiritual warfare. I am thoroughly glad that I was able to find King's Church when relocating to Arizona and welcome others who might be in search of a local church in the area.
