When I first came to Eliot Church of Newton, the main attraction was the people, who were friendly and outgoing, and easy to get to know. Later, as I got more involved, I came to appreciate the music, which is extremely high quality for a church of this size, and varied between ancient and modern pieces. The senior minister does a great job of keeping things interesting by varying the order of service and involving the congregation in the worship service. I've been coming to Eliot for about ten years, and have never gotten tired of it.
