I have been a member of this church since 1986. After much effort from dedicated members, the 178 year old historic church was purchased in 2009. Much work was performed to preserve it, resulting in the awarding of grants and funds from a local historical society.
The congregation is small but very friendly and unites people of all backgrounds, races, and faith journeys. The peace of Christ is passed among all people at each worship service. All share coffee and desserts after each worship service.
Over 1000 needy people are provided food from the church food pantry each month, and many are served hot meals at the soup kitchen on the property. I love seeing the joyful children sing, play, and learn during the annual Bible camps.
