Assemblies of God
As the world's largest Pentecostal denomination, the Assemblies of God - or "A/G" churches were purposefully structured in 1914 to provide unity while maintaining independence and autonomy. Their shared beliefs include infallibility of the Word of God, a Triune God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit, healing as part of the atonement, baptism of the Holy Spirit accompanied by the primary evidence of speaking in tongues as well as empowerment for life and service. All of this should be a normal part of Church life today. AG churches are congregational in style at the local level and presbyterial at the national level.
