Rev. Chris Leach and Heidi have been married since 1990 and have 4 children, two "in-law" children and 10 grand children at this time. We both love our Savior Jesus Christ and are committed to keeping Him the Lord of our life. How? by "closing the gap". Here at the First Free Methodist Church of Gloversville, that is what I encourage for me, my marriage, the church and for you, because that is where PEACE is found. We serve a God of peace, NOT of disorder as we read in 1 Corinthians 14:33. The "disorder" in our life comes as the GAP between us and God increases. How does it increase? We don't communicate with God enough as we do the things we do, according to the plans we have, rather than the plans He has!. Do I want that PEACE in my life, in my marriage, in my church? YES! Do you?.... Then Close the Gap, draw closer to God, who has the plan. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. --- Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
