Meet The Pastor
Reverend Adam Rodgers
I grew up in Mercer, Pennsylvania, the oldest child of Christian parents who continue to be leaders in their faith community, Mercer United Methodist Church, the church in which I was spiritually formed. Although my ecclesiastical roots are in the Wesleyan tradition, my calling to pastoral ministry was nurtured during my time as an undergraduate student at Westminster College, New Wilmington, PA. With the support of pastoral staff and lay leaders at New Wilmington Presbyterian Church, I found a theological home in the Reformed-Presbyterian tradition. For the past 23 years I have been married to my best friend Lindsay, and our life together continues to be my greatest blessing from God. Together we are the parents of three boys. Beyond the privilege of living out my calling as a pastor, I enjoy reading, making homemade pizza, remaining active through regular physical exercise, and supporting my children. When the day draws to a close, I’m also fond of sitting with my wife on the couch and watching a good comedy or crime drama on television.
