Pastor Terrence "Terry" Newman
Pastor Terrence O. Newman, the youngest of sixteen siblings from St. Louis, Missouri, embraced Christianity in his youth, now serving devotedly as a humble and gifted servant of God. With a distinguished 15-year career in the United States Army, Pastor Terry held notable positions in the United States Army Field Band at Fort Meade and as a Drill Sergeant at Fort Leonard Wood. His military service extended to roles as a Civilian Army Recruiter in Richmond, Virginia, with assignments across various locations, including international postings in MFO Sinai, Egypt, Israel, and Reinheim, Germany. Pastor Terry's academic accomplishments include a Bachelor of Science in Homeland Security Emergency Management from Strayer University, a Master of Science in Public Safety Leadership from Capella University, and a Master of Arts in Urban Ministry from Grand Canyon University. He also completed 5 CPE units at St. Luke’s Hospital, serving as a Chaplain. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Pastor Terry provided spiritual support to patients and staff at St. Luke’s, offering comfort during restricted visitation to around 1300 individuals, including patients, families, and medical staff. Baptized at Restoration Community Church under Pastor Richard L. Dean, Pastor Terry later joined Abundant Grace Church where he held several roles and is now embarking on a new journey with First Lady Tara as founders of Now Faith World Ministries, Inc., a venture in progress. "As founders of Now Faith World Ministries, Pastor Terry and First Lady Tara are stepping into a new chapter, guided by the belief that 'Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.' (Hebrews 11:1, KJV)"
