Meet The Pastor
Rector Doug Floyd
My mother will tell you I would take my Bible down to the creek to read as a child. I have a deep desire to understand and to share theological truths. In December of 1988, I married my sweetheart Kelly, and soon after, we moved into a community to serve others suffering in their journey. With this group, and many others since, we’ve spent time studying Scripture together, eating, telling stories, and simply sitting and sharing out on the porch - encountering the life of Christ within His people. Over the years, I’ve studied many streams of Christianity and found a home in the Anglican Communion that embraces God’s people from various traditions. We’re continuing on this pilgrimage living and telling our stories: sometimes sad, funny, irreverent, and poignant - all in worship of God the Father, through Son, by the Spirit.
