Lead Pastor David Nuhfer
LEAD PASTOR: REV. DAVID W. NUHFER
A graduate of Ashland Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree in May 1992, Pastor David has been a pastor since 1989 and was ordained in the American Baptist Churches, USA in August 1992. He came to serve as Interim Pastor at FBCSZ in September 2016 and is staying on longer-term as Lead Pastor to help the church with long-range planning.
His pastoral service includes churches in Ohio, Indiana and Pennsylvania. His background also includes service as a guest speaker/teacher, Leadership Event Coordinator, church vision-casting, pastoral mentor and a pastor to families dealing with the death of a loved one.
He is married to Paulette, who has a degree in Culinary Arts and a background in retail sales and health care. They are avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fans and enjoy cardio-fitness training. They have 2 adult children who both live in Pennsylvania as well as 2 granddaughters whom they adore!
