Meet The Pastor
Pastor Joe Salgado
Pastor Joe has pastored many churches, including some bilingual, as our pastor was born in Cuba. He has been involved in missions both in the United States and abroad, and in church school leadership. Brother Joe's ministry also includes revival evangelism, a radio and a pamphlet ministry.
Sister Ruthie, Pastor Joe's wife, was raised in a pastor's family with teaching and musical talent. Sister Ruthie has been writing songs since the age of 4 and thanks God for the music He has placed in her heart. She is an accomplished musician and often, Sister Ruthie will provide a special song or short inspirational message.
Brother Joe and Sister Ruthie love the Lord and His people. They have been serving at Spring Valley Missionary Baptist Church since its beginning in 2005. They make their home in Forsyth, Missouri, and have 5 grown children and nine grandchildren.
