Campus Pastor Gabriel and Rita Sotelo
Gabriel and Rita are originally from Tijuana, Mexico. Gabriel's work in the television industry moved them to San Jose, CA in 2014. As the sports anchor for Telemundo Bay Area, he covered many high profile events, from the Super Bowl and NBA Finals to the World Series and Copa Oro (with 6 Emmy Awards to prove it!)
When they settled in to the Bay Area, they found VIVE Church. The audacious faith and clear vision of Global Lead Pastors, Adam and Keira Smallcombe sparked something within them the moment they met them. Immediately after their first Sunday they committed to serving and building VIVE Church.
Pastors Gabriel and Rita had a dream to work and build something together. Their love for God, VIVE Church, and people led them to take a bold step - they moved across the country in faith and planted VIVE Church Austin.
