Meet The Pastor
Pastor Henry Johnson
Dr. Johnson began his career as an educator in 1973 as a graduate of Florida Atlantic University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. He then taught for 18 years in the Broward County School System; most of those years teaching eighth graders Mathematics. During that time, Dr. Johnson returned to Florida Atlantic University to earn his Master’s Degree in Administration; his Educational Specialist Degree in Administration; and his Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership.
During his illustrious career, Dr. Johnson has been a Staffing Specialist in the Hernando County School System, working with handicapped students; Director of Distance Education for Saint Leo University, Director of Training for USAA Corporation, Academic Dean at Florida Metropolitan University, and Founder/Director of his own charter school. Clearly, his philosophy of education and his tireless drive for excellence are reflected in the varied experiences he has had. All during his career as an educator, Dr. Johnson has been active in his church by being a Ley Minister and Deacon in the Anglican faith. Now he has turned his career over to the Lord. Pastor Johnson has been a student of the bible for more than twenty years and is using his “people” skills to build a strong Gospel driven church.
