Lead Pastor Bruce Jackson
Pastor Bruce Jackson serves as Lead Pastor of First Grace Church of Dayton, OH. Pastor Bruce and his wife, Brenda have seen music, family, and a desire for ministry to the real-life needs of others, as their shared values that brought them together as teenagers! They were married in 1982, after College and Bible training at Grace College and Moody Bible Institute. From the beginning, Bruce and Brenda saw the need for their family to be used in any way possible to lift up a high standard and share the answer of Jesus Christ for people’s troubled lives.
After 30 years of international evangelism and Pastoral leadership in the local Church, Bruce has developed an acute awareness and understanding of the breakdown in today’s families. Together, Bruce and Brenda have been a strong voice of vision, inspiration, and motivation in communicating Scriptural truth for the family. In addition to his calling as a Pastoral leader, Bruce is an accomplished keyboard artist and vocalist while Brenda is a gifted cellist and vocalist. Their musical collaboration has produced numerous recordings, as they have written a majority of their own music which deals, specifically, with all aspects of family issues and values. At First Grace, all the years of experience and gifts in areas of ministry have come together for a powerful ministry focus in Dayton, OH. where emphasis is placed on sharing the hope of Jesus Christ with ALL hurting people as well as training and seeing maturity developed in passionate disciples (followers) of Jesus!
