To this end, I have searched for and found God in unconventional places.” He further writes that “... I see the pastor's role as one called to encourage the transformation of individuals and congregations. If we are seeking the salvation of the entire world, we can begin our work by allowing God to sensitize us to the despair, heartache, poverty, selfishness, and need for God's love, that exists in our communities and the world over. I believe the greatest example of a miracle that we can witness today is the transformation of selfishness into compassion and self-righteousness into empathy. I truly believe that God is working through our local churches to make these miracles happen.” Pastor Hardaway is blessed to be married to Rev. Karen M. Anderson Hardaway. Pastor Hardaway is also a loving father, step-father and grandfather and great grandfather. His favorite scripture is Psalm 27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
