Meet The Pastor
Senior Pastor and Founder John Leonard Harris, Sr.
Pastor John Leonard Harris was most recently the Interim Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church in Lincoln, Nebraska. Prior to that assignment, he served at Christ Temple Mission Church in Lincoln for eight years. Pastor Harris is gifted and adept at providing ministry that “equips the saints for the work of ministry.” (Ephesians 4:12).
Pastor Harris has served as the Director of Church Relations for the People's City Mission and Coordinator of Men's Ministry for City Impact, Inc. His Biblical and practical preaching has touched the hearts of people in the states and has reached around the world to Africa and China.
Pastor Harris is the founder and president of Encouragement Unlimited, Inc., a public service 501c3 organization that he started in 2002 as a resource to people from all walks of life. He is the program developer for the Empowering Men for the Kingdom meetings. He organizes Hymn Sing concerts which offer ministry through the old hymns that we know and love.
