Meet The Pastor
Senior Pastor Steve and Margie Gutridge
Pastor Steve is a 5th generation Pittsburg, CA resident who accepted Christ as his Savior and Lord in 1976 at the age of twelve. He graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA in June 1988 and later that year married the love of his life, Margie. Steve retired in 2020 with 31+ years of Civilian service for the Federal Government working for the Navy and Army at the formal Naval Weapons Station Concord, CA. Pastor Margie is also a life long Pittsburg, CA resident who also accepted Christ as her Savior and Lord in 1976 at the age of nine. After briefly working in the public sector, she began the difficult but rewarding task of raising two wonderful children to adulthood. Both children serve in the community and at local churches in both CA and Colorado.
Pastors Steve and Margie were ordained in 2004 by the founders of I Found the Answer and in 2019, together, became Senior Pastors at the retirement and "passing of the torch" from the remaining founder of the the this ministry.
Today, I Found the Answer continues to partner with other local churches, community leaders, and organizations to help those in need both physically and spiritually. We are long time supporters of overseas missions along with supporting other Christian organizations within the United States.
