Pastors Joey and Toni Henry
Pastor Joey and Toni welcome you to Vertical Life Church! We thank you for taking the time to check out VLC and hope you make plans for a visit. What you will experience when you gather, are friendly faces, and an atmosphere that encourages you to be yourself as we all seek to encounter the presence of God! We launched Vertical Life Church in 2014, though it was not the route we expected for our lives. We were worship directors at another church at the time, and were seeking God's direction for our lives when through a certain turn of events, He led us to start a Sunday evening Bible study. That Bible study grew quickly until we outgrew our meeting space. Beginning with a few friends, and then a few more that we picked up along the way, we launched the church and began meeting in the Clio High School Auditorium in April of 2014. We have seen so many miracles along this journey as God has been growing our faith, but also the faith of those who call VLC home! We believe that the Holy Spirit is alive and well, and there is power in the worship and prayer of God's people. God loves to lavish his love on His kids (Ps 103:1-5), and we are amazed at every encounter, and breakthrough we get to experience together! It is our hope and prayer that those who are looking for a spiritual home, desiring to grow in faith, and partner with God as He reveals His love in our community would come and find their place at Vertical Life Church!
