Meet The Pastor
Pastor Skott Jensen
Pastor Larry M. Boone has served as Senior Pastor of First Assembly of God in Eustis since February 1977. He is also privileged to serve as an Assistant Presbyter for Section IV of the Peninsular Florida of the Assemblies of God for over 25+ years.
Pastor Boone is originally from Alabama. He was saved at the age of 13 and filled with the Holy Spirit at the age of 16. He grew as a teenager under the pastoral leadership of Selby McManus, Vaudie Lambert, and TC Harty. He moved to Florida in 1967 to attend Southeastern Bible College in Lakeland, Florida where he received his degree in ministry. He was Ordained through the Assemblies of God in 1977.
During his time in Bible College, Pastor Boone met his wife, Betty. They were married in 1970 and have been blessed with two children and four grandchildren.
Prior to coming to First Assembly Pastor Boone and Betty worked with a migrant ministry in Winter Haven, Florida under Don and Sharon Kiser. They also worked at Apopka Assembly of God for a short duration as bus and visitation pastor under the leadership of Gene Wilson.
Pastor Boone enjoys reading the Bible, building and flying model airplanes, hang gliding, ziplining, fishing, and boating.
