Senior Minister Chris Wise
Chris Wise, WRCC’s Senior Minister, is originally from Center Line, MI a suburb just north of the urban center of Detroit. Having resisted the call to ministry at first, he pursued and completed a degree in Psychology before submitting to the life changing call to serve God’s Kingdom in the local church. For twelve years, youth ministry was where you would find Chris serving, with the shift to preaching occurring in late 2012. Having completed his Masters from Lubbock Christian University in 2011, Chris is currently working on his PhD in Preaching from Midwestern Seminary in Kansas City. Married to Nancy for 17+ years, they have three daughters. The hobbies of choice are reading, playing games of all kinds, and Detroit Sports.
