Meet The Pastor
Pastor Kahlil Carmichael
Kahlil Carmichael answered the call to serve in ministry in 2003 and has served as Pastor of Live Well Church for 10 years. A double graduate of New York Theological Seminary (NYTS), Reverend Carmichael has completed a Masters of Pastoral Care and Counseling as well as a Master of Divinity. Additionally, he has completed 5 units of Clinical Pastoral Education and served as a Chaplain at Hoboken University Medical Center.
Reverend Carmichael is also a Staff Chaplain at Penn Medicine in Princeton where he serves as Hospice Chaplain.
In 2019, Reverend Carmichael continues his education through the pursuit of a Doctorate in Ministry at NYTS with a concentration in pastoral care and counseling, as an Adam Clayton Powell Fellowship Scholar.
Reverend Carmichael is a published author of a 30-day devotional for Guideposts Publications as well as a monthly column for The Positive Community magazine.
Reverend Carmichael also hosts a weekly radio program on WCTC entitled Live Well with Pastor Kahlil Carmichael, which focuses on living whole, living free and living well – from the inside out.
Through his work in the community, counseling sessions and teaching, Reverend Carmichael hopes to lead by example – motivating the masses toward good works and sacrifice for their fellow man, and to encourage and bind up the brokenhearted – physically, mentally and spiritually. It is his heart’s desire that all persons attain the freedom to worship authentically, thereby deepening their relationship with God.
Kahlil lives in central New Jersey with his wife Yevette and their 3 children.
