Senior Pastor Kevin Barefield
Dear Friend,
I want to personally invite you to attend Forest Oaks Baptist Church. Every Sunday we enter our Celebration Center with anticipation of what God wants to do in our lives. There can be absolutely no doubt that God is a personal God who cares very deeply about every issue that may concern us.
I'd like to encourage you to join us for worship this Sunday morning at 10:45 AM. It's my sincere hope that you'll be able to get your mind off of every issue you may be facing in life, and on to our God who is bigger than any problem or circumstance that you may have.
The only way that we can be spiritually cared for to today is through the power of the Holy Spirit. It's only through Him that we can be touched, challenged, and transformed on a profoundly personal level. Pastor's Bio
Kevin Wayne Barefield has been preaching from his mid-twenties and has been in pastoral ministry since 1988. During his years of pastoral ministry, he has served as a youth pastor and associate pastor before receiving his first pastorate in 1995. Pastor Kevin was invited to pastor Forest Oaks Baptist Church and has pastored the church since September 2001.
Pastor Kevin is a native of Houston, Texas. He studied at Houston Community College, San Jacinto Jr. College, University of Houston, Seminary Extension of the SBC, and Southwestern Theological Seminary. He graduated seminary with degrees in Theological Studies, Christian Education and Pastoral Ministries.
Pastor Kevin and his wife, Amy have been married since 1992. They are the proud parents of two adult daughters, Rebecca Anne Earney, and Abigail Alysse Barefield.
