Meet The Pastor
Head Pastor Douglas Goodman
Pastor Douglas Goodman has travelled around the world ministering the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Pastor Douglas is the head Pastor alongside his wife Pastor Erica Goodman at V2V Community Church, a non-denominational church based in Harrow, London.
Pastor Douglas has been married for over 40 years to Pastor Erica Goodman, they have 4 beautiful children who have followed in their footsteps and serve in the ministry and 4 grandchildren aswell as being spiritual parents to many.
From humble beginnings of being a member of a church and listening to the word day in day out his passion to serve God and the people has always been evident for everyone to see. He delights in preaching the undiluted word of God and through that reconcile lives back to Christ so that they can experience the promises, love, peace and healing of God.
He was ordained in December 1986 but rather than open his own ministry he sat under the leadership of another leader and served as an usher in the ministry shortly after becoming the head usher of that ministry. After building a fantastic ushering team that many churches till today fashion their ushering departments on he became the ‘director of helps’ and manager of the bookshop, once again through humility and submitting himself to the guidance and authority of the Holy Spirit he transformed the bookshop so that it provided a source of income to support the church and it’s outreach.
In 1994 Pastor Douglas was appointed head Pastor and since then he has overseen the growth of the ministry. Pastor Douglas believes that the word of God is not only to be preached but it has to be lived, it has to be a lifestyle so that the whole world can see that Christianity is not a religion but rather a faith with evident substance.
After close to 40 years of serving in the ministry his passion for Christ remains undiminished, his love of the word continues to grow and he continues to empower the next generation so that the name of Jesus will always be glorified.
